Printed in Milan in 1805 by Gio. Pietro Giegler, bookseller on the Corsia de’ Servi.
Folio volume with marbled cardboard boards, leather corners, and a leather spine bearing a small library stamp and title. The work is divided into two books bound in a single volume. In the frontispiece is a fine engraving showing the author dressed as a horseman with his horse, identified as “stornello pomato,” dated 1802. Both books are richly illustrated with numerous engravings.
The volume is complete and in more than good condition. It is a comprehensive manual for riders and equestrian enthusiasts, covering horse care, anatomy, training, and riding techniques.
