Octavo-folio volume, later cardboard binding, in good condition, though some early and final pages show noticeable browning. Decorative headpieces and initial capitals are present.
The work describes the perfect horse—its conformation, training methods, the various gaits, and ways to correct faults. This is a rare first edition.
