Folio volume, bound in rigid vellum with raised bands on the spine; fine printer’s device on the opening page. An engraving on page twelve depicts the author.
The volume is a complete work on military architecture, covering theory, construction practice, different types of fortifications, mechanics, and the instruments and machines used for their construction, as well as their defense, addressed in the sixth book.
The volume is in excellent condition, with only minor traces of humidity on some pages. It is richly illustrated with important drawings and decorative initials.
