A printer’s device appears on the final page; a fine engraved illustration is present beneath the title on the first page, along with decorative initials and a series of full-page engravings depicting horseshoes, bridles, and horses.
A treatise on the diseases of horses and their remedies. Nothing is known of the author’s year of birth or death; it is only known that the original work was written in manuscript form around 1340 and that the earliest version appears to have been composed in a vernacular dialect. The edition described here includes a dedication added specifically for the printed edition.
